About Johanna

Johanna and her family came to the U.S. as refugees in the late 1980s.  She was only a teenager then yet she remembers what It was like to be a newcomer. Johanna understands the mindset and culture of an immigrant as well as their feelings of fear and uncertainty.  By being able to relate to the client, Johanna brings warmth and familiarity enabling your client to feel at ease and fully participate.  

Johanna has been working with the Latin American community for over 30 years in various fields such as telecommunications, banking, marketing, and business development.  She's been working as a professional interpreter since 2011 in the fields of Mental Health, Specialized  Medicine, and various fields in Law, Worker's Compensation, and Immigration Field. Johanna is currently a Licensed Court Interpreter in Georgia and holds the Court Interpreter certification in the State of California.  She also holds a certification as a Healthcare Interpreter with CCHI.
